Goals

Give a goal, and each of its targets, their own owners.

Every goal shows a ring that turns green at 100%.

A task that counts towards a goal shows it under its title.

Owners hear when progress is updated and when the goal reaches 100%.

View only, Edit, Full edit or Manage, for each person, team or role.

A deleted goal keeps its targets and history for 30 days.

Goals

How is a goal's progress calculated?

It is the average of its targets. Each target is measured from its start value, and never goes below 0% or above 100%.

Do linked tasks update the goal on their own?

Yes. A tasks target counts the linked tasks that are done or closed, and updates as they finish, reopen, move or are deleted.

Can someone see a goal without seeing its tasks?

Yes. They see the progress, but not the names of tasks they have no access to.

Can a target go down instead of up?

Yes. Set the target lower than the start, for things you want to bring down, such as costs or late orders.
